Category Words

One person posts a word in japanese, and another has to name a catagory the word fits in and post three more words that fall into the same category.

Example: I post the word 犬 (dog), and someone else would post Category: Household Pets with words like 猫 (cat), ハムスター (hamster), and オウム (parrot). Then they would have to post a new and unrelated word to start the new category like, say, お父さん (father). This would begin the chain.

I'll go ahead and start this chain with 木  (book).

テレビ (TV)

でんわ (phone)

ラジオ (radio)

​New Word: 花火「はなび」 (fireworks)

Catagory: Festivals

着物 [きもの]  (kimono)

祭 [まつり]  (festival)

神楽 [かぐら]  (dancing)

New Word: 歯 [は]  (tooth)

Category: Body Parts

あたま　(head)

目「め」　(eye)

足「あし」　(foot)

New word: スニーカー　(sneaker)

Category: Things to wear on your feet

靴下 (sock)

サンダル (sandal)

おもり (clog)

New word: いただきます!
