🇫🇷 Bonjour !

🇬🇧 Good morning !

I've heard that in some cases, it's better to avoid using 面白い to avoid this notion that may sound "funny" (eg a war exhibition, etc.), and that it would be better to use "kyômibukai".

So I started to use this word for some serious movies, or other things that I found really interesting, and there, surprise, I was told that it is indeed 面白い and not "kyômibukai" that I must use.

Yet your sample sentences come close to what I mean.

When and how to use this "kyômibukai"? What is the difference between both ?
