I know @Monox D. I-Fly asked this question over 5 years ago, however I'll answer the question. "Kimi" is the subject that is doing the verb. I'm not sure if using the "ga" particle is gramatically correct, but in this case it would be "You are waiting". 

You would use "ni" to say someone is waiting for you. For example: "誰かは君に待っている" means someone is waiting for you

Does "Kimi ga matteru" mean that you're the one who is waiting or you're the one being waited for?
