色々な is more formal version of いろんな I think.

いろんな in hiragana is more casual speech/instant-messaging.

すみません。I have a question. Is  いろんな a different form of 色々?If so, when should I use this form? 

僕は毎週末色々な場所に行きます 

Is the above sentence correct? or is the sentence below a more preferred one?

僕は毎週末色んな場所に行きます。
