  1. 会意形声。「」+音符「」。「亲」は「」+音符「」の会意兼形声文字で、木を刃物で切り倒すこと。それに「見」を加え、身を切るほどに近しいことを意味(藤堂)。または、「亲」は、位牌の意でそれを拝む(見)ことから、「親」の意を生じた(白川)。
