Actually "I love you grandma" was something I repeatedly said at every opportunity.
事あるごとに
何か事が起きるたびに。いつでも、折に触れて、などの意味の表現。「事毎に」とも言う。
「いつでも」という解釈でも良いですが、「いつでも連発した。」という日本語は少し違和感があります。
