their is a 日 and 陽 what diffrense?

日-This kanji is the sun. Used to say that is the sun in the sky. Also day and other meanings.

陽-This kanji incorporates the 日as part of it (upper right ). It is used to describe things the sun does, 太陽は昼間輝く。Taiyō wa hiruma kagayaku. The sun shines during the day.

Hope this helps.

on most common pronounciation: There are more common words with Nichi. hi/bi is second, and jitsu is third. To say 'Sun' as a noun, use Nichi.

For example, Nichiyoubi (Sunday). It loks like this: 日曜日. The first 日 is 'Nichi'. the second '日' is Day. Sunday. So, to say sun as a noun, use nichi. :)

[if i got anything wrong pelase correct me, we are all learning and i woud love the help!]
