Today is a particular person's special gala.  The final great ceremony in each human's life..A Funeral  Life isn't that sweet.  That's why everyone wants sweet things.

Hello! I have only been to Japan a few times but I have already memorised some of the Japanese words that I think sound really good to me. Here are some of the words I would like to share with you (1) Shinrinyoku: it means ‘forest bath’, really magical! (2) Ikigai: it goes like something about the reason for being. (3) Itadakimasu: this one is very common. At first I thought it was the Japanese term for ‘thank you’, but it is actually literally translated as ‘i humbly receive’. Like, wow, I really feel deep down the humility of these people. I can’t even fathom that one.

私の一番好きな日本語の言葉はタンポポです。 タンポポは英語で「Dandelion」と言います。
好きな理由は発音がいいと思っています。

ねぇ、「タンポポ色」は日本の伝統の色っていうことは知っていますか。それは面白いじゃないか ;D

好きな言葉なら、挙げれば挙げるほど切りがない。日増して増えてくる。だがもっとも面白いのはやっぱり文化的な慣用句でしょう。

「同じ穴の狢」 - Partners in crime (lit. badgers in the same hole).

「仏の顔も三度(撫でれば腹立てる)」- You're trying my patience; don't push it (lit. even Budda gets mad if you touch his face three times).

「諸刃の剣」- Literally: double-edged sword.

「頭を切り替える」- Switch your focus elsewhere, think about something else (lit. chop off your head and replace it).

「歯に衣着せぬ」- Not sugarcoating your words (lit. not putting clothes on your teeth).

「犬猿の仲である」- Get along like cats and dogs (lit. relationship between dog and monkey).

…など、たくさんあってさ。いつも笑わせちゃいますね。

Word lists《四字熟語慣用語擬音擬態語複合動詞》in progress.
