Hey! I'm very much a begginer and I've been usng a book to learn, in the book it tells me that there is no "Ge" and げ is Ke but け is Ke too, and then on this site when playing the games I noticed that げ is Ge here, whats up with that?

げ = ge
け = ke
There must be a typo-error in your book.

Perhaps what they say is that ge almost sounds like ke. For instance, gakkou (school) sounds like kakkou to me. Near the same sound when spoken fast
