In a previous example containing 為に that went like this;彼女は学校に通うために自転車を買いました would it not be better to write something like 彼女は学校に通うように自転車を買いました since the bicycle was bought with the intention of attending school? As far as i know ように would translate more to "so that" than 為に, the latter giving me the sense that she had bought the bike explicitly for its speceficly intentioned purpose to getting students to school.
