Favorite artist?

I'm new here but I really like this place ^o^ 

I'd like you guys to tell me who are your favourite jpop or jrock artists... this way we can share some nice music together~

as for me..uhmm, it's pretty hard to choose, but if i really had to;

out of the female artists, my favs would be tsubasa masuwaka, may's and 8utterfly~
but i listen to visual kei much more, and there are so many bands i can't even start writing now :3

I listen to Japanese music pretty much all the time now.  My favourite artist for a long time is Ai Otsuka, love everything she does, she has so much variety, and her live concerts are just awesome!  I have a hard time choosing favourite songs from her, there are so many I love, but some of the best are Planetarium, Sakuranbo, Rocket Sneaker, Frienger and Yumekui.

After that would be FictionJunction YUUKA (I like everything else Yuki Kajiura does as well, but YUUKA Is the best!).  My favourite from them is Akatsuki no Kuruma which made me quite teary when I was watching Gundam SEED, lol.

Heehee, this list could get quite long, next Ayaka Ide, she's an up and coming new artist, I'm hoping I can get tickets to her concert when I visit Japan this year.

OK, there is a lot of others I like, I'll just list some of the rest: RAM WIRE, Mikuni Shimokawa, Aya Ueto, Mika Nakashima, Natsumi Kiyoura, Kanon ....

I like SKE48, パレット、大国男児、Aoyama Thelma, and Angela Aki. 

I also like Arashi, so I'm very excited that they're coming to Hawaii... Which is where I live. :D 

My favorites would have to be L'arc~en~Ciel and Vamps (both have Hyde on vocals). ^_^

I also like One OK Rock, Miyavi, Scandal, and Breakerz among others. 

There are a lot of Japanese bands that are really good, but are still not famous internationally. Care to suggest some? ^-^

I like Utada Hikari , PuffyAmiYumi, Vamps, and Hyde and a couple anime openings

my self i liked kayru pamyu pamyu style(kawii) its my first year of learning japanese life style XD.

I really like ONE OK ROCK and YUI Yonezu Kenshi (HACHI-P, the guy from Matryoshka, hes got pretty popular this year)

SEKAI NO OWARI is really popular and i think they make good music, but i don´t really like the vocals >_<
