hi..
the way you play the 'DEMO' game is to start out with a sentence.. then the next person writes another sentence, but has to add the 'DEMO' in the beginning.. then it goes on..
for instance:
日本語は面白いです.
(Nihongo wa omoshiroi desu.)
(Japanese language is interesting.)
でも難しいです.
(DEMO muzukashii desu.)
(But it's difficult.)
then the person who answered with "DEMO" will have to post a new sentence for the next person to answer.. ^_^
(if it's not much of a bother maybe we can also post the romanji and english versions of what we type for the benefit of the beginners like me.. ^_^)
shall we start??
FIRST SENTENCE:
私は日本に行き度い.
(Watashi wa Nihon ni ikitai.)
(I want to go to Japan.)

でも、日本は住んでいる所から遠くてもあそこに行くために方法を探すのです。 ^^
Demo, nihon wa sunde iru tokoro kara takakutemo asoko ni iku tame ni houhou wo sagasu no desu. ^^
But, Even if Japan is far from the place I am living, I will find ways to go there. ^^

Oh, I see, sorry about that, anyway...this is my new sentence
過去に戻れたとすれば、僕の間違えたことを変えるのです。
If I could go back to the past, I would change the mistakes that I did.

でも、「時をかける少女」ってゆう映画のように過去へ移動はとってもできないねえ。
demo, toki wo kakeru shoujo tte yuu eiga no you ni kako he idou ha tottemo dekinai nee.
But, you/i can't possibly travel back to the past like in the movie, "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time", huh..
Above all things, love.

Daigaku no koro, nihon ni ryuugaku sureba, yokatta no ni...
I wish I would have studied abroad when I was in college...
Above all things, love.

^ Reijoi, nice thread idea! Btw, if you highlight a Japanese word it should show the meaning for you which will help if there is any new words you haven't learned yet. I use it a lot, oscar7777 and lovegarden are really awesome with their Japanese!
でも、ラブガーデンさんがまだ若いなので留学する機会があります。
demo, rabugaadensan ga mada wakai na node ryuugaku suru kikai ga arimasu.
But, because lovegarden is still young, there is still the opportunity for you to study abroad.
Next:
明日、公園で友達と散歩するつもりです。
ashita, kouen de tomodachi to sanpo suru tsumori desu.
Tomorrow, I plan to go for a walk at the park with my friend.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
next:
雨が降っていますから私は悲しいです。
ame ga futte imasu kara watashi wa kanashii desu.
i'm sad because it's raining.
「でも」ゲームへの返事:でも、雨が好きです。雨の音を聞くと一杯最高の想い出を覚えるのです。そして、僕にとって雨粒に裂いた景色の効果がよかったから、神様、今日雨が降らせてください。^^
フリントへの返事:ありがとうございました^^ No one has ever complemented me in the Japanese language world! ^^ I am really grateful. ^^
