The next set of katakana we will learn consists of the following ha hi fu he ho.
This set of katakana can also be altered by placing the ten ten in the top right corner of the character. This changes sound of the character ha to ba and so on.
A third set of variation for this set of katakana can be created by placing a small circle (maru) in the top right corner of the character. This softens the sound of the character, thus ha becomes pa and so on.
