I think that you have to aclare that "Boku" 「僕」 is only used as "I" when it's refer to a man. Maybe (because i only have a couple of months learning Japanese) i'm wrong so i'd like that someone reponse me if it's ok or not. Thanks ^^

僕 is a bit informal and yes, only used by men. 俺(おれ)is even more informal and should be used sparingly (also used only by men). Everyone can use 私 though to be polite. :)

Actually, it's 俺, "Ore" which is used exclusively by males. "Boku" is masculine, but some girls refer to themselves via this word as well. Sort of tomboyish.

Between "ore", "boku", and "watashi", I like using "boku" the most because I think "ore" is too rude and "watashi" is too formal.
