I notice that the characters for itsu is the same for 'nanji' which would have the same meaning as when or what time. Anyone care to elaborate on the usuage or when you read the characters as itsu instead of nanji?

I didn't know that "itsu" kan be written with Kanji despite seeing it multiple times because I kept reading it as "nanji".
