I know this is not the forum to answer questions but, yes and no. oishii is a much more polite way of saying delicious. umai is generally used in more informal settings, maybe at home or the ramen shop. Yes, the meaning is the same however the nuance is slightly different. It was always used by men in the past but now has become popular with young women.
