in one of my Japanese From Zero books for hiragana and katakana, they use "acchi" for "that one (over there)".  Is this OK or should I be saying kachira?

PS... Oops, I'm sorry... I'm waiting for the Genki books and will see how different they are? before I go on to learning Kanji in full.  I'd meant to mention it.
