Sample Sentences for 生きる

Living is growing old, nothing more.
You say that you're afraid of being disliked by other people, but you have some people that you dislike yourself, don't you? Arithmetically speaking, there are an equal number of people who you don't like that don't like you back. I'm not saying that if you end your dislike of someone, someone else will stop disliking you as well; it's just that you can't change the fact that if you dislike someone, then someone else dislikes you as well. Your life will go much smoother if you just give up and accept that truth.
I can't live any longer without him.
He lived to see great grandchildren.
You must eat to live. You must not live to eat.

I want to say that I've been the last year serving myself with your absolutely magnificent website, which hs enabled me to learn hundreds of kanjis. Dunno if there's still somewhere out there patrolling the page, but I want to make clear the fact that you are making a dream possible.

行きます is very common, it is the polite form of the verb 行く.

You should be able to find it in the dictionary now, 行く has some irregular conjugations, and because of that it wasn't searching on its conjugations in the dictionary.  I've fixed that so you can find it now.

I have learnt that verb "to go" is ikimasu... to be written 行きます, however, I don't find that character in this dictionary..

is not much used?

I only find 生きます

could you guide me?
