i have always perferred Daisuki 大好き kanji,i also see it more common too. from what i know the 愛してる Kanji is used for very formal reason like marriage,it is soemthing japanese rarely do not want to say. I will agree with you that daisuki is much easier on the tounge to say then koi or aishteru.

Interesting question. Koi and Ai are very popular in Japan these days. However, "anata ga suki desu" just sounds so much nicer. Koi and aishite iru are rather English concepts and seem very put on, to those of us who have lived in Japan for a while. No offence intended.

This is a good kanji many people seem to miss. It is similar to the AI kanji 愛. however when you want to express or show love. which one of those two kanji should i use.

愛 or 恋?
