So...question...does this mark have an official name? Because I've seen this mark being used and it was called an iteration mark...but im not exactly sure.

The official name for it is
Note, it is not considered a Kanji character, but an iteration mark.
As such, it has no readings, it just repeats the sound of the character preceding it.
If you want to type it on your phone or computer, you can try typing おなじ, どう, or くりかえし and then converting. It should appear as one of the options.
