I think there's a mistake in this description. 格好いい is conjugated like the irregular adjective いい (good), not as an "i" adjective as stated above. For example, the past indicative of いい is よっかた so the past indicative of 格好いい would be 格好よっかた.
"いい good
→ よくない not good
→ よかった was good
→ よくなかった was not good
かっこいい good-looking / cool
→ かっこよくない not good-looking
→ かっこよかった was good-looking
→ かっこよくなかった was not good-looking"
